Hey humans, so I'm a huge nerd at heart. Book and podcasts, as you may have noticed, are kind of my jam. A lot of you have asked for recommendations so I started this list. (Podcasts are easy to look up the titles since they're on my phone, but I borrow all my books from the library so I sometimes have a hard time remembering which ones were good!)
I'm always looking for channels/episodes you enjoyed. I would say I most enjoy humanitarian issue/political science breakdowns, time management tips, and self-discovery types of topics. Basically anything that helps me live a more informed and beautiful life.

The Art of Feminine Seduction: How to Reclaim Power in Dating - as a woman LOVED this
Wabi-Sabi: the Wisdom in Imperfection - Absolute manifesto life motto game changer. Filled with beautiful lessons and parables.
Unreasonable Hospitality: The Remarkable Power of Giving People More Than They Expect by Will Guidara. I love this as a life concept and it's something I've since tried to integrate into all of my offerings.
The Right Thing, Right Now: Justice in an Unjust World. by Ryan Holiday
Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible Voyage. Just WOW. The start is a little slow but it gets CRAZY. True adventure story and super inspiring look at what humans are capable of both mentally and physically.
The Push: A Climber's Journey of Endurance, Risk, and Going Beyond. by Tommy Caldwell. Similar to the above but individual journey. I love these types of stories.
The Celestine Prophecy - It reminds me of The Alchemist, but had more of an impact on me
The Alchemist - no words necessary for this one
Shantaram by Gregory Roberts. Also based on a true story that is spiritual, beautiful, travel, life insights. There's a reason this book is on so many book lists. It's long but wow does it take you on a journey. If you're going to India def a must.
NonViolent Communication: A Language for Life by Marshall Rosenberg. If there was one book in the world I would want every person to read it's this one. YES it's a little dry or boring if you aren't actually interested in leveling up your communication.
The Awakened Woman's Guide to Everlasting Love by Londin Winters. Very helpful on polarity feminine/masculine and how to create the type of relationship I desire.
Boys in the Boat - historical fiction and the most beautiful story of perseverance
30 Life Lessons for Living Well by Karl Pillemar. Easy to read and just a lovely little collection of stories from older wiser humans.
The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz
More than Two: And Ethical Guide to Polyamory by Franklin Veaux. This was helpful for me to read before starting my first non-monogamous relationship. I believe some not so nice things have come out about the author but regardless I learned a lot and will take these lessons with me into future partnerships. Not for everyone.
Ep 209 Show up before you're ready featuring Glennon Doyle Melton* [this one is really, really special to me. I heard it while on a retreat in Iceland with Kym Pham and it was exactly what I needed to hear in that precise moment. It's about being honest, both with your self and with the world. I almost didn't include this one because it felt too personal to be on a general list, so do me a favor - if you listen to it give yourself some time and make sure you're in the right headspace :) It's awesome and I hope it helps you too. Disclaimer: I actually don't like most of Elizabeth Gilbert's other podcast episodes, go figure.
