What does that even mean?


my mission

One of my main missions in life is to help others introduce mindfulness practices into their lives so we may all be empowered to be our best selves, lead healthier lives, and leave a better legacy in our communities. 

As a sensitive person who often struggled with anxiety and avoidance, I found journaling brought awareness to my thought patterns and helped me to trust the unfolding of my life. I pair this practice with meditation, lots of sunshine, and movement! Going inward is a unique life journey.

my practice

-Wake up and meditate for 10-15 minutes non-guided using Insight Timer
-Journal for 10 minutes
-Put on my morning playlist (link to spotify)
-Make tea (Four Sigmatic's Lion's Mane Elixir for intensive work days with honey and oat milk, herbal tea when not.)

Evening
-Short stretch & wind down.
-Sleep with phone on airplane mode. The way one day ends is how the next day begins.

For me, meditation followed by journaling has been the best way to capture my thoughts, to process them in a way that is both useful and meaningful. This is what my typical morning looks like just after waking up.
